COViD-19 Pandemic & my mobile laundry

Covid-19 guidelines to keep your clothes and our staff safe!

1. Pick up & delivery can be contactless (left outside, porch, garage, etc) or with very little contact. Please have laundry ready to be picked up by your door/entrance.  

2. Our facility is sanitized & disinfected once a week. 

3. All launderers are required to wear new gloves with each order. 

4. Our commercial facility will wash clothes at least 140 degrees of hot water 

     (household hot water = 120 degrees)

5. Our commercial dryers will dry at extreme temperatures of 160-170 degrees. 

How much does this laundry service cost?

We will wash, dry and neatly fold your laundry. We charge $2.00 per pound of clothing with a $35 minimum per pick up. We will NOT know exact price until your laundry is weighed at our facility. You will NOT be charged until your laundry is completed. See Complete Pricing here

Estimate: a typical 13 gallon white trash bag will cost approximately $35 and large black trash bags approximately $60.00. Request for air dried items to be hung is additional 50¢ per item.

*Heavy Soil laundry will be charged additional 75¢ per pound.

What areas do you offer laundry delivery service?

Currently serving Eastern Montgomery County and Northwest Philadelphia. Our services extend to the following areas: Abington, Plymouth Meeting, King Of Prussia, Horsham, Hatboro, Norristown, Lower Gwynedd, Warrington, Doylestown and surrounding areas.

We will expand if the area demands it. The best way is to sign up here to let us know what zip code/area you are in. While you might not get service immediately. It does notify us know who’s interested. You can always send us a message with your address right here for a quick response to see if you are within our service area.

What to look for in a laundry delivery service?

NEVER outsourced!  All laundry done on premise at our Horsham processing center.  Be cautious of middle-man companies who pair you up with the cheapest service provider which will change order to order.  My Mobile Laundry will pick-up and wash your laundry in our commercial laundry facility by My Mobile Laundry processors.

 

Will my clothes be washed with other client’s clothes?

Absolutely not. We will NEVER wash or dry your clothes with anyone else’s.

What can I expect for my first laundry service?

It’s super simple!

  1. Create an account and place order online, select pickup date, time, and preferences.

  2. Have your dirty laundry in a bag of your choice (any trash bag or any reusable laundry bags are ideal).

  3. Expect a My Mobile Laundry driver to arrive in the 2 - 4 hour window to pick up your clothes.

  4. Your laundry will be delivered within 24 - 48hours fresh, clean and neatly folded.

 That’s it—you’re laundry free! Enjoy the rest of your day doing what you love.

 

Should I be home or should I leave my order to be picked up?

You do not have to be home for any pick up or delivery. Your pick-up/drop-off location should be a safe, secure, and accessible location where you feel comfortable leaving your personal items. Please note this location when you add your address.  All delivered laundry left outside will be photographed by our drivers and you will be notified by text message.

*We can also pick-up or deliver to your work place to make life easier.

 

I forgot to leave my laundry out for pick up, now what?

We get it, life happens. We will send out emails and text massages to make sure you don’t forget. You can always reschedule online or call/text us at (215) 995-2627. Please reschedule or cancel within 24 hrs. *

*Service fee of $10.00 maybe charged if our driver arrives and there is no laundry to be picked up.

How long does it take for laundry?

Your laundry will be done in 24hrs-48hrs or depending on time slots available.

 

Do I need to separate my laundry?

No. This is suppose make it easy for you. We will sort your whites, lights and darks.

 

Can I use my own soap detergent?

Yes you can!  Please select “Customer’s Brand” during soap selections. We also have premium brands like Tide, Gain & Downy!

 

What can be washed?

We can wash anything that is machine washable safe (please read instruction tags). Clothes, undergarments, aprons, towels, blankets—you name it we’ll take care of it. We are NOT responsible for clothing damaged in washers/dryers. 

 

What can’t be washed?

We WILL NOT wash shoes, leather (real or faux), suede, sequins, feather, or fur items. These will be returned unwashed with your clean clothes. We are NOT responsible for clothing damaged in washers/dryers. 

 

Do you offer special request for my laundry?

Of course! We will do your laundry the way you want it done. Please select preferences during scheduling process, if it’s not listed please leave us a note at checkout . Common requests are delicate wash cycle, water temperature, and low drying.  Please place special request items in separate bags so we get it right.

 

Can I request hang drying?

Yes you can. Hang dried items WILL NOT go into the dryer. We will hang any requested items to be air-dried in a climate-controlled environment. Hung items may be delivered not fully dried, please choose 3 days for items to be completely dried. Please keep air dried request in a separate bag labeled “HANG DRY”. There is a 50¢ charge for each items hung dry. We DO NOT pressed or iron any laundry. NO DRY CLEANING.
